Abstract
Purpose : By installing Dose management program, all radiation used examination dose can be automatically recorded and managed. In certain examination, dose calibration is performed for standardize dose by machines and technicians.

Materials and Methods : Total 947 examinations with 35 radiation exposure machines(general X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT and Angiography) were included in this study. Each machine represented different radiation unit. So, we matched all orders with conversion factors in order to unify the unit as effective dose unit milli-sivert [mSv].
In CT section, two 256 iCT, three Brilliance CT and one MX 8000IDT machines were used for dose calibration. It was performed with single abdomen CT (portal vein phase) order for one month period by machines and technicians.

Results : During the study period, November, 2013, total radiation used examination was 55176 and recorded dose information was 54897. Total record rate was 99.5%.
In first period with single abdomen CT(portal vein phase), median values by the machines were 8.0~10.0 mSv. At the same time, median values by technicians were 7.3~9.4 mSv.
After adjusting reference mAs of protocols, machine by machine, and having educational conference for technicians, machine median values and technician median values were reduced to 7.8~8.5 mSv and 7.6~8.5 mSv.
At the end of dose calibration, machines and technicians median values were in the permissible range.

Conclusions : Dose management program not only can help us to manage patient dose but also standardize dose by machines and technicians. This study can be used to standardize dose with radiation machines. Therefore, radiation used examinations can be performed with appropriate dose.
